To conserve the natural resources of Noble County by educating and providing technical services to land users for future generations.
About Us
Noble Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) was organized in July 1942, becoming the 6th SWCD to be organized in the state of Ohio. The district is a legal sub-division of the state and state law mandates that the district be governed by a board of supervisors. The board of supervisors consists of 5 members who serve without pay and are elected for a three year term at our annual meeting held in the fall. Any resident or landowner in Noble County is eligible to participate in the election. Regular meetings are opened to the public and held the second Wednesday of every month.
