Fast growing with long, soft needles. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. Very popular for wildlife plantings. Douglas Fir (1-2 ) Grows to 60 . Short, soft blue-green needles. Grows best in moist, well-drained soil. Largest timber producing tree in North America. Red Cedar (1-2 ) A dense pyramidal evergreen growing 40-50 . Spread 8-20 . Medium green needles are flat and scale-like. Should grow in almost any soil and does well in poor gravelly soils. This tree is a good choice for an evergreen screen or hedge. Tulip Poplar(3-6 ) A fast grower 70-90 . Large  tulip shaped flowers bloom in May & early June. The 4-6 long leaves are green above and pale below, turning golden yellow in the fall. Sugar Maple (1-2 ) Often called rock maple or hard maple. Height to 75 . Mature tree provide sugar products from sap in the spring. A good timber tree. Red Oak (2-3 ) Fast growth 60-70 with equal spread. Grows best in sandy to rich loamy soil in full sun. The fastest growing of all oaks. Very valuable as a timber tree. Pin Oak (1-2 ) Native tree with fast growth to 75 . Valued as a timber producer. Will make satisfactory growth on poor, dry, clay soils. Shagbark Hickory (3-5 ) Narrow, upright growth habit. Height to 90 . Fall colors are yellow and golden brown tones. Popular for its sweet nuts and shredding bark. American Chestnut (2 potted) (2-3 ) A fast growing tree to 100 . Plant in full sun, well drained soil. Need two for pollination and nut production. American Hazelnut (3-6 ) Also known as American Filbert. Medium fast growth rate. A multi-stemmed small tree growing 10-15 in height. Dark green summer foliage turns light yellow in fall. Edible nuts mature September to October. Bar Harbor Juniper (potted) Height to 1 . Spread 6-8 . Fast growing with blue-green foliage turning more purple in winter. Excellent as ground cover. Forsythia (15-30 ) Very fast, upright growth to 7 . One of the best plants for fast flowering screen. Deep golden flowers early spring. Ordinary to poor soil. Butterfly Bush (potted) Plant this shrub if you want to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. This is a graceful plant that grows to a height of 5-7 . Dark midnight-blue flowers appear in mid-summer. Plant in full sun, well-drained soil. Climbing Hydrangea (potted) A very elegant vine with rich, glossy dark green leaves contrasted by lacy white flowers in June. This is a climbing vine and will attach it rootlets to a tree trunk or other rough surface such as brick or concrete. Holly (potted) (Winter Red Winterberry and Winterberry)  Winter Red is a female, deciduous cultivar produced by cuttings rather than seed. For optimum berry production, plant with a pollinizer such as Winterberry Holly.
